The Policy of Broadband Wireless Access Technologies
|
On April 24, 2006, Estonia's e-Governance
Academy held a conference exploring the social, technical, political
and regulatory aspects of the developing space of Broadband Wireless
Networking Technologies, such as WiMAX (IEEE 802.16 / IEEE 802.20). |
If you were unable to join us, do not fret. We are
in the process of making a number of resources available to you. To
see copies of the presentations, please click on the Conference
Documents link. In the coming weeks, video
of the conference will also be hosted online. |
We have also launched a new forum here
on WirelessEstonia.com.
It is accessible either through this link, or
via the "forums" link on the top right of all of our pages. Our forum
will serve as a portal for all people to continue the dialogue and discussion
that began at our conference.
In the forum, users can post to existing threads or
create their own to share facts, opinions, external links and other
content with one another. We are in the process of making it possible
even to upload files to the forum, to easily share content with others.
By doing this, eGA hopes to foster as much constructive dialogue as
possible about wireless development in Estonia so that the transition
to and integration of future technologies can be as easy and as beneficial
to society as possible.
If you have any suggestions, questions or comments, please feel free
to email john@ega.ee.
